Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 19, 2026

This policy explains what information Wemily Studio collects, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to wemilystudio.com, our website questionnaires, our contact form, our booking page, and our emails.

Who we are

Wemily Studio is a brand of Wemily LLC, a North Carolina limited liability company. In this policy, “Wemily Studio”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Wemily LLC. We design and build websites for businesses in the United States, and we offer Google Business Profile setup and an SEO package.

Contact: partnerships@wemilystudio.com · PO Box 1321, Roxboro, NC 27573

Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Website questionnaires. Our questionnaires run on Tally. The short questionnaire on our website, for a free homepage concept, asks for your name, email address and phone number; your business name, what it does and the city or town; whether customers visit you; your services; your current website; what your new site should do; your look and timing preferences; and, if you choose, your logo and a website you like. If you become a client, a longer questionnaire also asks for details such as your location and hours, your domain, and wording, files and photos for your site. When you arrive at a questionnaire from one of our links, we also record a short label for that link (for example “site” for our website), so we can see which of our channels work. The label never contains your name or contact details.

  • Text messages, if you choose them. Our questionnaire and our “Yes, I’d like to go ahead” form have an optional, unticked box for text messages, and the go-ahead form an optional mobile number field. If you tick the box, we record your mobile number and your consent (see “Text messages” below).

  • Contact form. Your name, email address, business name, the type of inquiry, and your message.

  • Booking a call. When you book a call through our Google Calendar booking page, Google collects your name, email address, the time you choose and anything you add to the booking, and shares it with us.

  • Emails, calls and meetings. What you tell us when you write to us, call us or meet with us.

  • Payments. If you pay us by card, our payment provider, Stripe, processes your payment. We receive confirmation of the payment and basic billing details. We do not receive or store full card numbers.

Please do not send us passwords, payment card numbers, government ID numbers, or health or medical information through our forms or by email. We never ask for passwords.

Information collected automatically

  • Our website is hosted by Framer. When you visit, Framer receives standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type and the pages you view, so it can deliver the site and keep it secure. Framer also gives us anonymous visit statistics, such as page views and referring sites.

  • The site’s web fonts may load from a font provider such as Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the fonts load.

Information from other sources

  • To tell businesses about our services, we may collect business contact details that the business has made public, such as the email address, phone number or website listed on its own website or in public listings such as OpenStreetMap.

How we use information

We use information to:

  • prepare your free homepage concept and your quote;

  • reply to your questions and requests;

  • schedule and hold calls;

  • build, launch and support the services you buy from us, under our written service agreement;

  • send you emails about your project, your concept or your quote;

  • send occasional emails about our services, which you can opt out of at any time;

  • improve our questionnaires, our process and our website;

  • keep our website, accounts and records secure; and

  • meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

AI-assisted drafting. We use AI tools to help turn questionnaire answers into website plans and draft website copy. When we do, your answers are processed by the provider of that tool, currently Anthropic (Claude) and OpenAI (Codex). We review the results before we send you anything.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it for targeted advertising.

Text messages

We text you only if you ask us to, by ticking the optional “Text messages” box on our questionnaire or on our “Yes, I’d like to go ahead” form. The box is never ticked for you, and you don’t need to tick it to get a concept, a quote or our services.

  • What we collect: your mobile number and a record of your consent: when you ticked the box, on which form, and the exact wording you agreed to. If you reply STOP, we record the date.

  • How we use it: only to text you about your free homepage concept, your quote and your website project. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help.

  • No sharing for marketing: we do not share, sell or provide your mobile number or your text-message opt-in data to any third party or affiliate for their marketing or promotional purposes.

  • Who handles your texts: our phone and text-message provider, Quo, and the mobile carriers process your number only to deliver our messages and your replies.

Who we share information with

We share information only as needed to run our business:

  • Service providers that work for us: Tally (questionnaires), Framer (website hosting and the contact form), Google (email, calendar, video calls, documents and fonts), Quo (our phone and text messages; see “Text messages” for what it receives), the AI tools named above, our payment provider, and the services we use to store and back up our project records, GitHub (a private repository) and Google Drive.

  • Your website, if you hire us. Content you ask us to put on your website becomes public when your site goes live.

  • Legal reasons. When the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our clients or others.

  • Business changes. If Wemily LLC is reorganized, merged or sold, information may move to the new owner, who must follow this policy.

Cookies

We do not use advertising cookies on wemilystudio.com. Some pages link to other services, such as Tally and Google Calendar. Those services have their own privacy policies and may use their own cookies.

How long we keep information

  • Questionnaire answers, contact-form messages and booking details from people who do not become clients: we delete them 24 months after our last contact with you.

  • Business contact details collected for outreach (see “Information from other sources”): we delete them 12 months after our last contact, unless the business becomes a client.

  • Client records: for as long as we work together and then for seven years after our work ends, for tax, accounting and legal records.

  • Email opt-outs: we keep a record of your opt-out so we keep honoring it.

  • Text-message consent and STOP replies: we keep the record of your text consent, and of any STOP reply, even after you opt out, so we can show what you agreed to and keep honoring your opt-out. We keep it for five years after our last text to you.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to:

  • tell you what personal information we hold about you;

  • correct it;

  • delete it; or

  • stop sending you marketing emails.

You can stop our text messages at any time by replying STOP.

Email partnerships@wemilystudio.com. We may need to confirm your identity before we act. We will reply within 30 days. Every marketing email we send includes a way to opt out.

Depending on where you live, state law may give you more rights.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect information, including limiting access to the owner of Wemily Studio and using account security features on the services we use. No method of sending or storing information is completely secure.

Websites we build for clients

When we build or host a website for a client, the client decides how information collected by that website is used, and the client’s own privacy policy applies to its visitors. We handle that information only on the client’s instructions, under our service agreement with the client.

Children

Our website and services are for businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, email us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. We will post the new version on this page and change the effective date above.
